Arts America provides an opportunity for young people to discover the arts and cultural influences of America!  The arts provide a unique perspective of history. Because artists respond to and impact the societies in which they live and create, the arts provide a window into other times and places. Learning about history through their arts provides a multicultural perspective, thus diminishing stereotypes and engendering respect of human dignity and worth of all people.
