Freedom Sing is a patriotic spectacle produced by Arts Express
in recognition of America, those who have served to protect our freedom,
and the continued hope for world peace. The annual performance takes
place in conjunction with the July 4th holiday. Over two hundred
singers, instrumentalists and other cast members take center stage to
celebrate America’s independence. This patriotic extravaganza is a
partnership between Arts Express, Inc. and the City of Tucson.
The goal of Arts Express is to bring the arts to children and
adults of all ages, and to improve the quality of life for all
Tucsonans.

Each year, American favorites such as The Star Spangled
Banner, America the Beautiful and The Battle Hymn of the Republic are
performed by the Arts Express Choir and Orchestra along with selections by such
notable American composers as John Phillip Sousa and Irving Berlin. Various
patriotic themes are explored utilizing the vast depth of talent in Arts
Express, as well as guest artists from the Tucson Community. Audiences have
enjoyed appearances by the Mayor and other dignitaries who join us on stage to
present our patriotic message.
